Job Purpose

Reporting to the North America Aftermarket Director of Supply Chain & Logistics, the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing demand and supply planning strategies to ensure product availability while maintaining lean inventory levels. This role is critical in driving a high customer order fill rate and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the automotive aftermarket industry, with a comprehensive understanding of procurement, inventory management, and distribution processes. Additionally, this position will lead and mentor a team of supply and demand planning professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demand & Supply Planning: Develop and execute demand forecasting and supply planning strategies to align with business objectives, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimal stockouts.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain a balance between product availability and cost efficiency, optimizing stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Process Optimization: Implement and refine supply chain best practices, leveraging data analytics to drive efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance operational performance.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with procurement, product, category, sales, operations, and logistics teams to synchronize supply chain activities with business goals.
  • Supplier & Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, respecting contractual obligations and ensuring consistent, high-quality supply chain performance.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply and demand planning professionals, promoting a results-driven and collaborative work environment.
  • KPI Monitoring & Performance Analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fill rates, forecast accuracy, and supply chain costs, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, developing contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Technology & Systems Enhancement: Leverage advanced supply chain tools, ERP systems, and data analytics to improve forecasting accuracy and streamline operations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in supply chain management or similar role, preferably within the automotive aftermarket industry or a related sector.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing integrated supply chain strategies.
  • Strong working knowledge with Demand Planning software, Material Requirements Planning and SAP ERP.
  • Strong knowledge and execution of Sales & Operations Planning.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data to make informed supply chain decisions.
  • Strong staff leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a team-based environment.
