Job Summary
Come join a successful Tier 1 automotive supplier! We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain/Purchasing Manager who will be responsible for executing the activities within our supply chain strategy. This includes the activities of the various markets, existing, as new/developing, OEM/OES and Aftermarket – B2B/B2C, within the business units Textile, Plastics and van protections.
Responsibilities
- Function as product management (R&D), to obtain the best products against the best purchase prices from our suppliers.
- Identifying and improving supply chains and its processes such as optimizing routine procedures, automating repetitive manual work and bridging siloed systems.
- Setting Purchase vision and strategy. Determine goals. Together with the regional Purchasing manager.
- Mapping the supply chain and identifying strategic partners within current and new markets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan production schedules effectively.
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to streamline procurement processes.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms to achieve cost savings.
- Conduct regular assessments of supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Skills
- Proven experience in supply chain management with a focus on sourcing, procurement management, and logistics.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable pricing and terms from suppliers.
- Proficient in inventory control techniques and practices to ensure efficient stock management.
- Familiarity with SAP ERP and other MRP systems and their application in supply chain processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
