Position: Phlebotomy Instructor
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive instruction in the art of phlebotomy for aspiring phlebotomists.
- Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for students during lecture and all clinical drawing portions.
- Encourage and support students throughout the program to ensure successful completion.
- Deliver our insightful curriculum in a clear and easily comprehensible manner.
- Manage onsite inventory and classroom cleanliness.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including classroom documentation (If applicable).
- Productive attendance and timeliness to all scheduled classes.
- Required reliable transportation and an address to receive inventory boxes.
- Required Technology knowledge with IPads, mirror casting, troubleshooting, etc.
- Preferred - EKG knowledge and work experience
State Requirements:
- CURRENT Certified Phlebotomy Technician in the state of Colorado with a minimum of 2 years phlebotomy experience in the previous 5 years (venipuncture, blood collection, lab processing, and special specimen procurement), must provide a copy of phlebotomy certificate upon request
- Hold no less than a high school diploma or GED and have completed a program of instruction at a recognized school in a field directly related to the program teaching, must provide a copy of diploma or transcript upon request, OR
- Hold no less than a high school diploma or GED, and have a minimum of 5 years Phlebotomy work experience

Schedule: *as needed Substitute Position
PM Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00PM-10:00PM
Weekend Shift: Saturdays, 8:00AM-4:30PM
