Description: Pho Prime is looking for an experienced and dedicated Kitchen Leader to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Cook all broths needed for the day, ensuring flavor and consistency.
- Operate the meat slicer to prepare meats to the proper specifications for the menu.
- Lead the kitchen team, guiding line cooks in daily tasks and ensuring high-quality standards.
- Oversee kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and cleanliness.
- Prep ingredients and supplies during downtime to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets Pho Prime’s quality standards.
- Manage inventory and assist with stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Set up, clean, and maintain the kitchen and workstations according to restaurant protocol.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Provide additional support to the kitchen team and assist with training new kitchen staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a kitchen leadership role or as a line cook with leadership potential.
- Strong knowledge of cooking methods, including broth preparation and meat slicing techniques.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform prep work accurately and efficiently during downtime.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead by example.
- Ability to stand, bend, stretch, and lift heavy materials as required.
- Understanding of kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
