Summary:
Phoenix Behavioral Health, LLC is recognized as a leader in the field of behavioral health and substance use disorders. We are seeking a lead facilities support staff to provide daily oversight and support for transportation, meals, and route management.
Responsibilities
- Prep’s fully prepared daily breakfast and lunch daily for clients in partial care
- Prepares daily snacks and beverages for identified
- Works with the Site Manager and Executive Director to ensure all food orders are properly placed and filled.
- Works with the Site Manager and Executive Director to ensure all supply orders and needs are properly filled
- Cover front desk duty or other responsibilities as needed
- Coordinate transportation, daily transport routes, assign and print daily run sheets, and ensure clients are assigned to proper van routes for arrival/departure daily.
- Ensures safe preparation of food and meeting dietary restrictions of clients
- Provides select daily transport to clients for intakes and daily program services using Phoenix vehicles.
- Assists in supervision of client activities, hall monitoring, and redirection of clients as needed..
- Monitors client breaks during off group/clinical times as needed
- Maintains order and ensures compliance with vehicle safety rules and regulations; ensures that clients conduct themselves in an orderly manner when on agency property or in agency vehicles.
- Escorts clients within building campus or other agencies when necessary
- Performs light housekeeping as needed for common areas and transportation workstation
- Ensures kitchen is clean (disinfecting and tidying up the workstation daily).
- Follows procedures in response to all emergencies and demonstrates calm and controlled behaviors during a crisis situation, properly documents the findings with incident reports and results of the response
- Be alert for activities which could result in possible crises and assist in situations in a professional and efficient manner
- Provides a courteous, respectful, and pleasant interaction with each client and employee Maintains and displays good public relations skills when interacting with clients, visitors, and staff
- Performs all other responsibilities and duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is preferred
- One (1) year working in a behavioral health setting, or a similar environment is At least one (1) year of working in a driving position is preferred.
- Professional appearance, dress, and communication expected
- A valid driver’s license and clear MVR check
- Keen observation skills are required
- Knowledge of the importance of operating a vehicle safely is required
- Must be able to understand the nature of client behavior
- Must be able to assist in any department when needed; being able to work in a team setting is required.
- Must be able to be flexible with schedule to meet all needs of the program
- Ability to establish and maintain working relations with staff and other agencies
Schedule:
- Full Time Monday – Friday during Business hours (8-4:30)
