Position Overview
The Construction Estimator will play a critical role in the planning and execution of luxury residential and commercial projects. You will collaborate closely with clients, architects, and project managers to deliver accurate and competitive estimates, ensuring our projects are executed to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and scope to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.
- Research and source materials, labor, and subcontractor bids to determine project costs.
- Collaborate with design and project management teams to ensure estimates align with client expectations and project requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
- Identify potential risks and value-engineering opportunities to optimize project budgets.
- Prepare bid proposals, budgets, and schedules for clients and stakeholders.
- Track and manage changes to project costs during construction phases.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator, preferably in custom homes and commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and market pricing.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Proficient in Excel
- Speak, read and understand Spanish
- Capable of job supervision
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
