Production Planner is responsible for daily production schedule planning and support the purchasing organization with purchasing of materials. The role of the Production Planner is to plan the production schedule for the plant operations. The Production Planner key task is to plan the production schedule based on customer orders to ensure a timely delivery of the finished goods to the customer and there is adequate material stock to meet our customer demand.
Duties and Responsibilities
Designate the production schedule a daily and weekly schedule for production to run based on customer demand and promised dates to customers.
Plan future production schedule to ensure a timely delivery of the finished product.
Manage the ERP inventory level settings of materials based customer forecasts.
Make corrections or changes in the ERP system as necessary
Skills and Specifications
Able to use ERP or similar computer system for daily plant functions (inventory, planning, ordering, etc.)
Able to interact with people and work as a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Able to communicate & resolve issues with vendors and customers
Education and Qualifications
Able to interact with all personal.
Good communication skills
Good computer skills
