Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for providing administrative support and project coordination for the AIMS Software implementation and training departments. This position is a main point of contact with customers via phone, email, and web conferencing. The Project Manager plays a critical role in identifying opportunities for improving software, service, and operational efficiencies.
This position requires an individual with proven success managing multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet customer expectations
Manage multiple cross-functional projects
Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments. Direct and monitor work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs and performing quality reviews; escalating functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately
Ensure adherence to project plans and schedules through meetings, follow-up documents, issue management and facilitating team members’ jobs
Ensure that project objectives and requirements are clear and understood by the customer and project team
Ensure that risks are identified, communicated, and mitigated
Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
Lead, create and document project meetings
Work with Product Manager to handle backlogs and new requests
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications and Skills
Business degree or 3-5 years of related experience
Must possess knowledge in the use of project management methodologies, tools, and resource management practices
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Smartsheet
Effective leadership skills; oral and written communication, facilitation, and teamwork
Must be comfortable communicating with customers including project plan presentations
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Project Management certification
ScrumMaster Certification
Understanding of CMMS software use is a strong plus
