We’re looking for an experienced HR Manager with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition to drive our hiring efforts across roles such as leasing agents, construction crews, computer technicians, and more. This position will also oversee basic HR functions, ensuring that our workforce remains productive, engaged, and compliant with regulations.
Position Overview
The HR Manager (Talent Acquisition Focus) will be responsible for end-to-end recruiting and day-to-day HR administration. You’ll collaborate with leadership to fill critical vacancies quickly and effectively, ensure compliance with labor laws, and help shape our company culture. Additionally, one of your first major tasks may be hiring a Project Manager who will manage office operations, logistics, and purchasing—freeing you to continue specializing in HR responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Develop and post job listings for varied positions (leasing agents, framers, computer technicians, etc.)
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and collaborate with department leads on candidate selection
- Build a robust talent pipeline using online job boards, social media, and networking events
- Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company
- HR Administration
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws
- Update and implement HR policies and procedures in line with best practices
- Advise leadership on HR issues, including compensation, benefits, and performance management
- Manage the performance review process, assist in conflict resolution, and handle employee relations matters
- Strategic Planning
- Work closely with leadership to understand staffing needs and upcoming expansion plans
- Provide insights on workforce planning, training and development programs, and retention strategies
- Partner with management to hire and onboard a Project Manager who will oversee purchasing and logistics
- Track recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-of-hire, turnover rate) and make data-driven recommendations

- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- 3 years of HR experience, with demonstrated success in full-cycle recruiting
- Familiarity with construction or real estate industries is a plus, but not required
- Skills & Abilities
- Solid understanding of HR best practices and applicable labor laws
- Proficient in applicant tracking systems, HRIS, and Microsoft Office (or similar)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing needs, and maintain confidentiality
