In this role, you will be an essential part of our construction projects team, assisting with various tasks that contribute to the successful completion of building and renovation work. Responsibilities
- Assist Construction Manager with preparation through completion of projects.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow instructions from supervisor and skilled tradespeople on specific tasks.
- Ability to perform tasks without direct supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety on-site.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing job duties.
Requirements
- Previous experience in site work construction. Prefer 3-5 years.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Experience with small equipment, skidsteer, small excavators, compactors is preferred.
- Experience with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors.
- Must be able to pass any required background checks or screenings.
