What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cost Specialist position at Phoenix Power Group?
The Junior Cost Specialist will assist the Project Controls and Project Management teams with all functions of daily operations in support of 1-4 projects at a time. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, data entry, financial reporting, and other project support tasks.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enters material receipts in JDE
- Obtains material receiving documentation from expediting/project team
- Ensures retention held and taxing is correct for all AP invoices
- Creates excel Executive Cost Report and updates all tabs
- Creates labor hour reports
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2 years of experience in supporting Projects
- 2 years of financial education
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experience working with JDE, EcoSys, TAP, or Hubble is a plus
