Purchasing Agent & Inventory Analyst

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor in Accounting or Finance

EXPERIENCE

  • 4 years in a manufacturing environment required
  • 4 years as purchasing agent and / or inventory analyst required
  • Printing / packaging industry experience is highly desired
  • Public accounting experience is highly desired
  • Strong organizational, math, computer, and analytical skills

    • COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Mid to advanced level technical knowledge and experience with :

    • MS Windows solutions (Word, Outlook, Visio, and most importantly, Excel)

  • Mid-tier Accounting software
  • Manufacturing Software
  • Inventory software
  • Order processing systems

    • RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Suppliers' negotiations, contracting, relations, and monitoring compliance and pricing
  • Purchase planning and coordination with operations and suppliers
  • Inventory monitoring, management, processes, procedures, and controls (i.e., inventory levels, timely ordering, deliveries, usage, month-end counts, consignments, etc.)
  • Purchasing, inventory, and cost of sales analysis, reconciliation, and reporting
  • Review of purchase requisitions
  • Preparation of purchase orders
  • 3-way matching (purchase order, receiving report, and invoice) for payment
