We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of both low and high voltage systems, HVAC, hydraulics, and the ability to read schematics.
2nd shift: 3pm-11:30pm (training on 1st shift for the first 6-8 weeks)
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on production equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage components.
- Interpret schematics to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Weld components as necessary for repairs or modifications to equipment.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve maintenance processes and enhance overall facility performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Journeyman status strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems and their maintenance requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as schematics and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies within the facility.
