We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Duties
- Develop and modify CNC programs using CATIA and other CAD software to meet design specifications.
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines, ensuring precision and accuracy in fabrication.
- Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers to verify the dimensions of finished products against technical drawings.
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot issues related to machining processes.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Maintain detailed documentation of programming changes, setups, and production runs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficiency in CATIA or similar CAD software for designing parts and programming machines.
- Familiarity with operating CNC lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.
- Knowledge of GD&T principles and their application in manufacturing processes.
- Solid math skills for calculations related to machining processes, measurements, and tolerances.
- Experience in lean manufacturing practices is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
