We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for employees and visitors.
Duties:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- Perform floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and polishing floors
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Follow proper safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and protocols
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in commercial or industrial cleaning, a strong knowledge of custodial practices and techniques, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
