Busy metal recycling plant in Belleville, MI is hiring General Laborers to join their team. Annually, this company processes over a billion pounds of metals which are re-sold to customers worldwide!
4/10 hour shifts, Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday with overtime as needed!
Job Responsibilities:
- Picking, sorting, and lifting unusable scrap from moving conveyors, working both inside and outside in the yard
- Keeping work area clean and organized
- Operate a forklift to move material
- Shoveling scrap into various bins for processing
- Other duties as assigned by Plant Management
Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, have the ability to work either 1st or 2nd shifts, have a valid drivers license and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a continual basis. Forklift experience is a definite plus!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
