What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Phoenix Services LLC?
Machine Operator needed for a growing machine shop on the west side of Ann Arbor.
1st shift: Monday-Thursday: 6am-4pm, $17.68 per hour
2nd shift: Monday-Thursday: 2:00 pm -12:00am, $19.68 per hour
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Start and shut down CNC equipment at the beginning and end of shift
- Run single or multiple CNC work stations by loading materials and unloading complete products
- Report and communicate issues with supervisor
- Log in / out daily output into ERP system
- Perform regular visual and in-process quality inspection checks per requirement
- Produce quality parts and maintain production levels
- Follow company safety practices to provide a safe work environment for all employees
- Perform general housekeeping
Qualified candidates will have experience using power hand tools, measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers, and at least 1 year machine operation experience. Basic math and computer skills also required. Interested individuals must be able to work occasional overtime with short notice when required, and should be quality conscious and mechanically inclined.
