Phoenix Specialty, a family owned company located in Bamberg, SC, is looking for a Maintenance Technician II.

Basic Job Duties:
Performs maintenance and preventative maintenance and troubleshooting pumps, air compressors, forklifts, levelers, uncoilers, presses, gear boxes, conveyors, grinders, lathes and Shears.
Will run conduit, pulling electrical lines, and have basic knowledge of electrical circuitry and safety awareness of 110 volts and some 3 phase 220/440 volt.
Observes, listens, diagnoses, tests, dissembles, and repairs machine malfunctions.
Performs facilities waste handling, welding, fabricating and pipe fitting.
Works safely to prevent on the job injuries by following all safety rules and regulations.
Operate forklift, genie lift, and capable of equipment rigging and relocating.
General knowledge and understanding pneumatics and hydraulics including pumps, cylinders and controls.
General housekeeping duties.
Other duties as assigned.
Special Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
Knowledge and experience of pump, mechanical repairs, rebuild, recondition, bearing replacement for industrial equipment.
Blueprint reading and interpretation.
Clear and concise verbal and written skills.
Fabricating and pipefitting experience a plus.
Education Required: High School/GED
Experience Required:
Minimum two years maintenance and preventative maintenance/mechanical experience in a manufacturing/maintenance environment with a complete basic understanding of the fundamentals.
