Title: General Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Compensation: $100,000 - 150,000 Incentive Bonus
We are currently seeking a General Manager to lead a family-owned operations, reporting directly to the CEO. The right candidate will not only oversee all aspects of the business but also have the opportunity to grow into ownership and potentially take over as CEO in the future. To be considered for this role, candidates must have a strong background in logistics and distribution, with hands-on experience managing the movement of goods, coordinating delivery schedules, and optimizing supply chain processes.
Your role:
- Leadership & Management: Oversee day-to-day operations. Lead and mentor a skilled team to ensure efficiency and quality while fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Business Development: Build and maintain relationships with high-end clients, designers, and corporate installers. Identify growth opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
- Financial Management: Manage budgeting, cost accounting, and financial performance. Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to drive improvements.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with ownership to develop and execute growth strategies, leveraging market trends to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for key clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and high-touch service for corporate clientele.
What you've got:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience (5 years) in general management
- Facilities and distribution management and experience is a must.
- Strong leadership, team building, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in growing revenues and profitability while maintaining operational excellence.
- Ability to manage blue-collar teams effectively, with respect and understanding of their work.
- Financial acumen, including experience with cost accounting and budgeting.
- Strong relationship-building skills with corporate clients and designers.
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
