Network Administrator
We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to support enterprise and distributed partner networks for an educational services organization. This role involves managing the full life cycle of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, network security, and associated technologies. The position operates in a hybrid work environment, with most days requiring on-site presence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with partner teams to plan and optimize wireless deployments within campus buildings.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior network administrators in troubleshooting and fulfilling technical requests.
- Research vendor solutions, obtain quotes, and provide recommendations for system updates, new deployments, and lifecycle management.
- Engage with external partners to design integrations for software, services, and hardware solutions.
- Utilize online training resources to expand technical knowledge and skills.
- Present network architecture and designs to leadership teams using various formats, including video conferencing, presentations, and visual diagrams.
- Recommend and implement improvements to deployed network technologies.
- Participate in the design and deployment of network infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on wireless technologies within a campus environment.
- Manage, support, and troubleshoot complex network environments, including routing, switching, wireless, load balancing, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Conduct packet analysis and troubleshoot network performance issues.
- Be available for on-call support as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
