Job Description
Title : Principal Data Analyst
Location : Tempe, AZ (hybrid with at least 2 days / week onsite)
Type : 6 month contract to hire
Your role :
- Evaluate, design, and implement information and data governance solutions and information modeling to meet the needs of business stakeholders.
- Maintain and configure information governance systems and the organization's common information model.
- Implement key concepts of enterprise information architecture.
- Manage and configure technical infrastructure for data management, including platforms like Collibra Information Platform, Collibra Data Quality, Erwin, and Enterprise Architect.
- Collaborate with integration teams on system integrations and service-oriented architectures (SOA).
- Work with analytics teams on enterprise initiatives involving data science platforms like Dataiku and Snowflake.
- Lead projects and initiatives to support product roadmaps for enterprise applications, major initiatives, and information management projects.
- Provide information and data governance guidance to information system projects and teams.
- Develop workflows, integrations, and other capabilities to support enterprise data management tools and meet business needs.
- Support data governance communication within the organization.
- Adhere to information principles, policies, and privacy practices.
- Support data services related to data quality, data cataloging, data modeling, and assessments around data usage and sharing.
- Collaborate with data architects and provide support for the Collibra metamodel.
- Implement data repositories and utilize connectors to integrate with data tools and other enterprise applications / systems.
- Enable data architecture concepts within the organization.
- Develop written materials to support data services.
- Mentor and coach team members.
- Participate in the data stewardship program and support individual data stewards.
