We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sr. Account manager, Partnership Strategy & Service to assist team members with strategic account management, activation oversight, and delivering exceptional service to partners, ensuring the fulfillment of contractual assets and achieving partner objectives.
What You Will Do:
Account Management & Client Relations:
- Manage a portfolio of high-value corporate partners, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
- Develop and execute strategic activation plans that align with partner objectives and maximize ROI.
- Conduct regular meetings with partners to review performance, identify opportunities, and address challenges, documenting all interactions in the Player 15 Group CRM (KORE Interactive).
- Collaborate with partners to provide proactive, data-driven recommendations that enhance their sponsorship experience.
Activation Oversight & Execution:
- Ensure timely and effective delivery of all contractual assets, working closely with the Coordinator to manage logistics and timelines.
- Monitor activation performance, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve partner goals.
- Lead the preparation of Monthly Pulse Reports, Bi-Annual Recaps, and Annual Year-End Reports, delivering compelling insights and storytelling.
Upselling & Account Growth:
- Identify and pursue upsell opportunities within assigned accounts, aiming to enhance partnerships and grow revenue.
- Develop tailored proposals for incremental assets or services, emphasizing value and alignment with partner needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals are innovative, strategic, and data-informed.
Renewal & Retention:
- Lead renewal efforts for assigned accounts, crafting comprehensive proposals that reflect evolving partner objectives and showcase partnership value.
- Develop and present compelling case studies and performance reports to reinforce ROI and secure long-term commitments.
- Negotiate renewal agreements in collaboration with leadership and legal teams.
Team Collaboration & Coordination:
- Supervise and mentor one Coordinator, providing guidance on day-to-day tasks and professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing Solutions and Sales Engineering, to enhance partnership strategies.
- Contribute to team brainstorming sessions, offering innovative ideas and solutions for partner activations.
What We Need From Our Sr. Account Manager:
- Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to develop and execute comprehensive strategies that deliver measurable results.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., KORE), Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant platforms.
Experience/ Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in sponsorship, account management, or a related field, preferably within the sports or entertainment industry.
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring team members is a plus.
