Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management:
- Oversee and manage the entire financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, procedures, and controls, as well as relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
- Operational Leadership:
- Lead the financial operations team, providing guidance, mentoring, and development opportunities to ensure high performance.
- Collaborate with other departments, including HR, operations, and sales, to provide financial insights and support.
- Implement and manage financial systems and software to optimize efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and operations.
- Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and other relevant financial regulations.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage external audits, coordinating with auditors and ensuring all necessary documentation and information are provided.
- Strategic Planning and Analysis:
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to the executive team.
- Assist in the development of financial strategies and plans to support the company's growth and profitability.
- Participate in strategic planning meetings, providing financial expertise and guidance.
- Ad Hoc Projects:
- Lead or participate in special projects related to financial operations, such as system implementations, process improvements, and mergers/acquisitions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial operations, with a significant portion of that time spent in the staffing, recruiting, or consulting industries.

- Extensive experience with the full financial close process.
