SUMMARY
To plan for, manage and oversee the information and communication systems of the company.Ensure that I/S plans are aligned with and support business plans for the company. To ensure compliance with policies related to the I/S areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following.
- Manages the IT environment (150 computers, two sites) including the IT team and external help desk.
- Supervises personnel responsible for installation, maintenance and monitoring of company’s local area network and information systems.
- Oversee the development and implementation of systems that support the company’s business plans.
- Maintain liaison with parent company for coordination of projects and compliance with company standards.
- Ensure the availability of systems to support business operational requirements.
- Oversee the execution of “disaster recovery plans” for the I/S area to ensure continued operation of critical business functions.
- Consult with management to determine requirements and priorities for new projects.
- Review feasibility studies of proposed I/S projects and systems.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s software policies and vendors’ license agreements.
- Develop a system architecture and communication infrastructure.
- Evaluates hardware and software products and recommends purchases consistent with defined system architectures and the company’s short and long-term objectives.
- Recommends operation and LAN policies and procedures to ensure adherence to security procedures.
- Oversee procurement of company IT and office equipment (printers, copiers, etc.)
- Oversee security monitoring of company systems and networks.
- Prepare I/S budgets and strategic plans.
- Maintain and present status of I/S projects.
- All work affecting product quality shall be competent on the basis of appropriate education, training, skills, and experience.
- Assume additional related responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- 10 years of related experience
- 5 years of demonstrable experience with Active Directory Services (Active Directory Certificate Services, Domain Services, Federation Services, and Networking Services), planning, implementation and migration
- Knowledge of Active Directory sites, trusts and topology
- Microsoft Online (Office 365, eMail migrations, Azure)
- System Center Suite (SCCM, SCOM, SCSM, SCOrch, SCVMM)
- Networking experience at the infrastructure level
- Ability to prioritize and work independently as well as in a team environment
- Experience in working with globally dispersed teams
