Role: Technical Product Manager with SEO

Responsibilities:
About the Role:
We are looking for a Technical SEO Product Lead to drive our organic growth strategy by blending deep SEO expertise with a product management mindset. This role sits at the intersection of SEO, product development, data analytics, and engineering, requiring a highly strategic and execution-focused leader who can scale our search performance through technical innovation.
You will work closely with engineering, product management, marketing, and data teams to define and execute an SEO-driven product roadmap that enhances our search visibility, increases organic traffic, and optimizes the overall search experience.
Key Responsibilities SEO Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute a technical SEO roadmap focused on crawlability, indexability, and structured data optimizations.
- Own and manage the SEO product backlog, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact and feasibility.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement SEO-friendly site architectures, internal linking, and navigation structures.
- Identify and execute site performance optimizations (page speed, Core Web Vitals, rendering, etc.).
- Conduct technical SEO audits, diagnose issues, and implement scalable solutions.
- Stay ahead of search engine algorithm updates and adjust strategies accordingly.
SEO Data Analysis & Insights
- Leverage tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Botify, and Looker to monitor site performance and uncover insights.
- Develop SEO KPIs and dashboards to measure performance and report on organic search impact.
- Conduct A/B testing and experiments to validate SEO hypotheses and continuously optimize.
Product & Engineering Collaboration
- Work with engineers to build scalable SEO infrastructure, ensuring SEO best practices are integrated into development cycles.
- Define SEO requirements for new features and ensure proper implementation.
- Lead discussions on JavaScript SEO, rendering challenges, and log file analysis.
Content & Schema Optimization
- Develop and implement structured data (Schema.org, JSON-LD, etc.) to enhance rich results.
- Collaborate with content teams to optimize existing and new pages for search intent.
- Work on entity-based SEO and semantic search strategies to improve topical authority.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience in technical SEO, with a proven track record of driving organic growth.
- Strong technical knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development principles.
- Experience with SEO for large-scale websites, including eCommerce, SaaS, or content-heavy platforms.
- Hands-on expertise in Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Deep understanding of crawling, indexing, Core Web Vitals, page speed optimization, and log file analysis.
- Proficiency in structured data (JSON-LD, Schema.org)
- Experience working with CDNs, sitemaps, robots.txt, hreflang, and canonicalization.
- Strong analytical mindset, experience using SQL, Python, or data visualization tools for SEO insights.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and content teams to drive SEO initiatives.
Bonus Skills
- Experience in AI-driven SEO strategies (GPT-based content, entity recognition, etc.).
- Familiarity with Headless CMS, server-side rendering (SSR), and JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, Vue. Preferred Vue Js
- Understanding of programmatic SEO and automated content strategies.
- Experience with SEO localization and international SEO best practices.
- Knowledge of search APIs, web scraping, and SEO automation.
