Key Responsibilities:
General Maintenance Support:
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all tasks are completed to satisfaction.
- Perform routine and minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including fixing plumbing issues (e.g., leaks, clogged drains), electrical repairs (e.g., changing light bulbs, outlets), and basic carpentry work (e.g., patching holes, repairing doors).
- Assist senior technicians with more complex repair tasks when necessary.
Janitorial Duties:
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors; clean windows, mirrors, and light fixtures.
- Empty trash cans and dispose of waste according to company procedures.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels as needed.
- Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the property to meet company standards.
Pool Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Clean and maintain the pool area, including skimming debris from the pool surface, vacuuming the pool floor, and cleaning pool filters.
- Ensure proper water chemistry by testing and adjusting pH, chlorine, and other chemicals as required.
- Report any pool equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade or technical certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience in maintenance, janitorial work, or pool cleaning is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Must have a pickup truck and own tools.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and minor repairs is a plus.
- Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and demonstrate good time management.
- Flexibility to work on weekends or after-hours as needed.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with a schedule of Monday - Friday.
- Physical labor required; must be able to lift and carry heavy objects (60 lbs.) and perform tasks outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Occasional overtime & weekends may be necessary, particularly during peak seasons or for urgent repairs.
- Uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.
