Patient Service Representative

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic Medical Billing team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients with billing questions, providing exceptional service and support. You will assist provider offices and patients with inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience with our company. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities
- Respond to provider office and patient inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide accurate information regarding patient balances to enhance patient understanding.
- Resolve patient complaints effectively while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Document interactions and maintain detailed records of provider office and patient communications in our computerized system.
- Process patient payments over the phone.
- Maintain knowledge of company policies, procedures, and product offerings to provide informed assistance.

Skills
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is highly desirable to cater to diverse clientele.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in using office software and computerized systems for documentation and communication purposes.
- Previous experience in a call center or similar environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and composure.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and act decisively.
