Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic examinations as ordered by attending physicians in accordance with established protocols
- Conduct EKG, pacemaker checks, and holter monitoring examinations as needed
- Adjust technical factors and positioning to obtain quality images based on patient condition
- Prepare requisitions and patient histories, verifying scripts as required
- Coordinate with other staff to ensure proper patient care
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of a formal Radiologic Technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
- Certification: Active certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in the specialty(ies)
- Licensure: Active licensure with individual state Department of Health if required by law
