Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Accounts Receivable Clerk with billing experience to join our business office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in financial software and CPT/ICD10 coding.

Responsibilities .
- Analyze account discrepancies and resolve billing and payment issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the team to manage customer inquiries related to billing and payments.
- Utilize financial software for tracking accounts receivable and generating reports.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.

-Follow up on unpaid/underpaid insurance claims. Verifying CPT/ICD10 coding accuracy.

Experience
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or related financial services roles is required.
- Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping and technical accounting principles.
- Familiarity with financial software applications is essential for efficient data management.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams professionally.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
