Our company has a terrific company culture and is expanding our team. We are seeking a IV experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician to compound prescription weight loss medications (semaglutide and tirzepatide), peptides and antiobiotic therapies. Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM - No Weekends.
Requirements:
- Pharmacy Technician License with the Texas Board of Pharmacy
- IV Certification
- Good Communication Skills
- Be Accountable/Dependable
- Teamwork oriented
I.V. Tech Responsibilities:
- Mix IV Medications in our clean room for patients.
- Knowledge of and adherence to pharmacy laws, rules, and regulations.
- Demonstrate professionalism, communication skills, and friendliness.
- Medication preparation, sterile compounding, packing, and coordinate delivery.
- Prepare and organize dispensed medication, including calculating quantities, assembling solutions, mixing components, packaging product, and preparing labels.
- Use sterile compounding in the clean room to compound infusion medications.
- Responsible for clean room readiness, including maintaining a safe and clean medication area, sterile room, and laminar flow hoods.
- Coordinate tasks and other Admin duties when needed.

Experience:
- Hospital or Pharmacy: 1 year (Preferred)
