What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Account Representative / Biller position at Physicians Eye Center of Owensboro?
Responsible for entering charges for surgeries, procedures and other services, transmitting claims, assisting patients with their accounts, both in the office and on the phone. Position requires accuracy, thoroughness and a good understanding of insurance procedures for referrals, copays, deductibles, allowables and Diagnosis codes. Work is multitasked and interrupted often. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with patients.
