The Project Agility Manager (PAM) works primarily with PHP's IT teams as well as business-side stakeholders and subject matter experts to collaborate on the creation and management of robust, secure, and high-quality software systems. A PAM is a servant leader who will use their strong sense of personal accountability, time management skills, and knowledge of Agile frameworks to ensure team collaboration and drive PHP's IT projects to successful completion.
Project Manager
- Trusted advisor for consultations on enterprise technology initiatives.
- Leads projects from concept to implementation to achieve target scope and schedule while managing dependencies and impacts.
- Facilitates project activities by managing risk and issue mitigations, establishes project schedule, and manages change controls and project budgets.
- Partners with business and technology subject matter experts to create estimates, track funding, and manage forecasts against approved budget.
- Communicates project issues and risks in a manner suitable to the audience of the technical team, stakeholder and senior management.
- Ensures projects comply with quality and service standards.
- Prepares and conducts periodic project status reports to update project governance teams and executive management regularly on progress, risks and issues.
Scrum Master/Agile Coach
- Coaches the team members in self-management and cross-functionality.
- Educates team and organization on importance of established framework practices.
- Helps the team focus on creating high-value Increments that meet the Definition of Done.
- Aids in the removal of impediments to the teams progress.
- Ensures that all events and ceremonies take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS, CIT, CPT preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 years of IT Project Management, Scrum Master, or Agile coach experience.
- Experience utilizing Azure DevOps in an Agile, team-based atmosphere.
- Experience with large enterprise-wide project management.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines.
- Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross regional, diverse, and dynamic work environment.
- Experience in Agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical personnel.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases preferred.
- Knowledge of general Software Develop processes preferred.
- Knowledge of Healthcare and Health Payer processes and practices highly desired.
