Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including taking vital signs and performing physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Perform procedures such as spinal taps when necessary.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient services to patients, ensuring accessibility to care.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Conduct triage assessments to prioritize patient needs in various settings, including emergency rooms (ER).
- Engage in utilization review processes to ensure appropriate care delivery.
- Educate patients and families on health management strategies, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification with a valid state license.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and geriatric care principles.
- Proficiency in basic life support (BLS) techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
