We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nocturnist Hospitalist to join our healthcare team in East Orange, NJ . The Nocturnist will provide comprehensive medical care to patients during the night shift, ensuring high-quality treatment and support. This role requires a strong understanding of various medical disciplines and the ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Our Noctutrnist will work 12 hr shifts 7pm-7am
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations during nighttime hours.
- Manage acute medical conditions and provide treatment plans for hospitalized patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Perform procedures such as central lines and intubations.
- Utilize medical imaging and diagnostic tools to inform treatment decisions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in accordance with hospital policies.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments.
- Stay informed about advancements in medical practices related to family medicine, immunology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, and physiology.
Experience
Board Certified or Board eligible internal medicine or family medicine, with experience in nocturnal patient care preferred.
