Fast Growing, Mid-Sized Real Estate Firm seeks a Head of Acquisition and Development.
This is a high level role, reporting directly to ownership, and can be located in either midtown Manhattan in NYC, or Miami, FL
Responsibilities include
Acquisitions:
• Source and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities aligned with investment strategy.
• Conduct market research and financial analysis to assess feasibility, risks, and returns.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, property owners, investors and industry professionals to identify off-market opportunities.
• Oversee underwriting, financial modeling, and due diligence processes for potential investments.
• Prepare investment memorandums and present findings to senior leadership and investors.
Development:
• Lead the planning and execution of development projects, including entitlement processes, design, and construction oversight.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful completion.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, engineers, and consultants to optimize project design and efficiency.
• Navigate zoning, permitting, and regulatory approvals to advance development projects.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project feasibility and profitability.
Strategic & Financial Oversight:
• Develop and implement acquisition and development strategies to expand the portfolio.
• Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes to identify new opportunities.
• Support capital raising efforts, investor relations, and debt financing negotiations.

Qualified candidates must have experience with acquisition and development in the multifamily space. Knowledge of the sunbelt/Florida region a plus.
Base salary 200-300k DOE
Salary : $200,000 - $300,000
