Our Client, a Global Insurance Company is seeking a Content Production Coordinator.
Must be willing to work EST hours!
The Content Production Coordinator will be the primary backup for both the Direct Mail Print Lead and the Commercial Print Lead.
Responsibilities :
Working closely with various internal business areas and external suppliers to prioritize, coordinate and execute multiple print production projects.
Understanding business objectives and strategies, collecting requirements, and defining specifications related to print assets.
Analyzing job requirements to determine the best method of production.
Creation and bidding of various print projects to external print suppliers.
Review of print proofs for accuracy and brand compliance.
Identification of risks based on supplier capacity, project complexity, and internal timing.
Active participation in daily / weekly production meetings, clearly communicating job status.
Direct Mail Specific Responsibilities :
Working in a high volume, high demand production environment, managing print production of several campaigns simultaneously.
Understanding direct mail requirements, developing key production milestone dates with suppliers and internal stakeholders, managing communication around production deadlines and job status.
Creation, review, and execution of Direct Mail Lettershop instructions.
Coordination of inventory levels on kit components with monthly mailings (i.e., preprinted shells, BRE’s, outer envelopes, etc.).
Commercial Print Specific Responsibilities :
Assist in the execution of various print formats including postcards, brochures, pocket folders, flyers, etc.
Gain an understanding of inventory management with warehousing facilities, handling the execution of Low Stock Notices, inventory alerts to internal partners, and collaboration with the warehouse facility to maintain accurate assets.
Actively manage the supplier proof review process with internal and external business partners.
Manage commercial print projects from initial request to final delivery, including scheduling, estimating via rate card pricing, Purchase Order creation, and proofing.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Basic knowledge of print production processes & techniques.
Good leadership, people, and project management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Strong analytical and computer skills.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and other design software is a plus.
