We will train our design and sales consultants on our processes, of course. However, having experience in preparing designs and estimates is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Meet with clients to take in home measurements, listen to their design ideas, full needs analysis for the desired renovation

- Develop and implement innovative design projects for clients

- Prepare 3D design rendering and estimate for clients’ projects to present and sell

- Assist clients in selecting cabinetry, countertops, appliances, and fixtures that align with their style and budget

- Follow up with the project, ensure that the work is being executed according to design

- Address concerns of clients when necessary during the process

- Compile and present data for other departments, such as production department for implementation of your design

- Working with internal and external resources to achieve results

- Management of multiple clients during any one time period

- Follow up with leads to maintain clientele base and closing ratio

- Stay updated on the latest trends in kitchen design and sales techniques

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Previous experience in sales. Experience in sales and interior design, home renovation, remodeling, kitchen and bath industry is a huge plus.

- Familiarity with design software programs, preferably 2020 Design Live.

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Ability to work well in teams

- Time management skills increase income as it is commission based

- Strong sales and closing skills are a must

- Excellent attention to detail

- Strong work ethic and a “do whatever it takes to get the job done” attitude to deliver results in a fast-paced environment

Full-time, Commission Pay for Salespeople/Designers: ranges roughly $80,000- $200,000 per year. Salespeople at VKB Kitchen and Bath determine their own income through sales. There is no cap in commissions.
