Are you a self-motivated student who loves tackling challenging projects? Are you looking for an opportunity to gain practical engineering experience and work on cutting edge technology? If so, Physik Instrumente could be the place for you! As an intern at PI, you would partner with our product development engineers and gain insight into the processes and systems used to deliver our innovative instruments and technology to our customers. Students who enjoy building mechanical things and are curious about a mechanical engineering career in a manufacturing environment are highly encouraged to apply.
The 2025 Summer Internship program will run from May - August 2025.

What You Will Do :
- Prepare detail and assembly drawings for precision motion systems.
- Provide general CAD support to design engineers.
- Generate 2D CAD drawings from 3D solid model layouts.
- Load design information into PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system.
- Work on a variety of engineering projects ranging from research and development to building and testing instruments.
