Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in bartending and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when necessary
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Upsell drinks and snacks to increase revenue
- Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Proficiency with cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products
- Excellent math skills for handling payments and making change
- Outstanding customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor
