Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scala Developer with a strong background in Angular. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of work experience in Scala development and possess an excellent understanding of multi-threading and high-volume server-side development. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, ensuring their performance, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications using Scala and Angular.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our products.
Skills Required :
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Scala development.
Strong knowledge of multi-threading and high-volume server-side development.
Proven experience with web development using Angular.
Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Practical knowledge of source control and issue management tools, ideally Git and JIRA or Rally.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and agile environment.
Skills Desired :
Experience building high-volume and resilient systems.
Database experience such as SQL, RDBMS, etc.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
