Product Development Coordinator

Position Overview

Hands on Product Development position to lead all aspects of product development, multi-stage execution, and achieving calendar milestones. The Product Development Coordinator will ensure the development and quality of assigned apparel, gift and home goods products by serving as an inter departmental liaison. An ideal candidate has strong organizational strength, communication skills at all levels, and a solid understanding of design dye sublimation and cut & sew construction.

This position is an integral part of improving the manufacturing process. They must be competent and comprehend complex operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive the product life cycle from problem identification to launch to evaluation
• Utilize customer feedback to inform our product strategy and process
• Work to define and maintain a product roadmap that is aligned with company goals and initiatives
• Partner with Business Development & Marketing to help align communication and expectations about our products & services.
• Propose and implement improvements to our product planning processes
• Act as the product point of contact for specific projects; quickly identify root causes, provide solutions and communicate clear explanations to other department heads.
• Ensure quality of samples to submit to the customer.
• Complete projects within agreed upon timelines
• Maintain accurate records of samples, costs, pricing, and markups.
• Support execution of the product development process; track, add, and maintain all schedule and cost related files
• Develop tech packs and spec sheets to factories and our own manufacturing team for accurate construction and pricing.
• Coordinate with cross functional team review of samples and product on daily basis.

Skills or Experience Wed Like to See

• Familiarity with Design and/or pattern-making software

• Aptitude for digging deep into the data, thinking from first principles, and delivering the best results.
• Demonstrates precise, intentional, and effective communication
• Pays strong attention to detail so nothing slips through the cracks
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and pushing through ambiguity to drive results

Additional Info:

• This role may require travel between locations (Ambassador & Creve Couer)
• This role requires standing for long periods of time, and lifting up to 25lbs
• This role requires working in an office setting with collaboration of the team members on the floor
• Salary range is 45-50k
