As a Sandwich Maker/Cashier, you will be responsible for running the register, taking orders and preparing delicious sandwiches and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities: - Prepare sandwiches according to customer preferences and specific orders - Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency - Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area - Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, grills, and ovens - Maintain inventory of ingredients and notify management when supplies are low - Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders and processing payments accurately - Ensure food quality by monitoring freshness and proper storage - Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations Requirements: - Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred - Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus - Strong math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques - Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds If you are passionate about creating delicious sandwiches, providing exceptional customer service, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
