What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool Maker position at Pursuit Aerospace?

Our exceptional quality is driven by a deep investment in and the daily practice of continually improving our people, processes, and products. We have a new opening for a Toolmaker in our Newburyport facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow detailed designs, producing most dies including compound, draw, single station dies.
- Setting up and trouble shooting most dies
- Working with all conventional Tool Room Equipment
- Working with all tool steels
- Working to sketches and verbal instructions.
- Safe operation of all Tool Room Equipment
- Working /-.0002 and being able to use measuring instruments
- Willing to work with other Toolmakers
- Meeting all time standards
- Working on many jobs simultaneously
- Must keep work area neat and orderly
- Follow all applicable AS9100 procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills:
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- Proficient in all Tool Room Equipment and all skills to meet the “Duties” section above
- Heat treating of Tool Steels
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years experience in CNC/Toolmaker Job
