The Pickerington Local School District is seeking qualified applicants for an Accounting/Accounts Receiveable position.
Work schedule for this position is a 12-month position, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalency with course work in accounting and office practices training also desirable
- Typing speed of at least 40 wpm with accuracy and proper use of grammar
- High level of proficiency and office experience including desktop publishing, editing and Microsoft Office Suite skills, and the district’s financial software
- Experience using and supporting employee information systems and a wide variety of office equipment
- Business school training or previous experience in accounting
- Working knowledge of basic office procedures, including proficiency in accounting practices and the operation of common office equipment
- Excellent multi-tasking, organizational and communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to follow directions and a strong desire to succeed
- Must be friendly, dependable and exhibit a strong work ethic
- Ability to maintain and respect confidential information and situations
- Ability to assist supervisor in creating a safe, positive and confidential working environment.
- Ability to work well with students, staff and diverse populations.
