Pickleheads is the #1 website and app for pickleball players. Each month, nearly 1 million players come to Pickleheads to discover courts, connect with local players, organize games, and run round robins.


In the last year, the number of players on Pickleheads grew over 400% with no paid advertising. It’s now the top mobile app for pickleball on iOS and Android and endorsed by USA Pickleball and the Global Pickleball Federation. In December, we raised a $2.5M Seed round to capitalize on this growth and solidify our position as the must-have app for players.


We’re hiring a Business Development Representative to connect with thousands of pickleball organizers across the country and help them provide a better on-court experience for their players through the Pickleheads platform. Huge bonus if you’re a pickleball player!


About Us


- Founders: Founded in 2022 by experienced founders with multiple successful exits.

- Funding: Closed a $2.5M Seed round in December 2024. Backed by Overline, Ardent, and top angels such as Kevin Durant.

- Tech stack: TypeScript, React, Next.js, Chakra UI, Vercel, PostgreSQL, Stripe, and a handful of other third-party APIs. Our mobile app is built with React Native.

- Customer obsession: We are obsessed with product and customer experience.

- Culture: 100% remote with quarterly in-person events. We go hard but respect and encourage time off.


What You’ll Do


- Conduct 25 weekly sales calls, pitching our tools for organizing games and collecting payments

- Educate organizers on how to use the Pickleheads platform to provide a delightful player experience out on the court

- Build a pipeline of qualified leads through outbound calls and emails, inbound support requests and new lead channels that we create together

- Close organizers, assist with onboarding and provide elevated email support

- Harvest customer insights for our product and marketing teams

- Drive adoption of new features among existing organizers


Who You Are


- 2 years experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role

- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas

- Fearless in cold outreach, including cold calling and texting

- Talented presenter who will crush discovery calls and product demos

- Exceptional written communication

- An avid pickleball player!


What We Offer


- $80,000/year salary

- 0.25% equity

- Cash bonus structure

- $50/month to play pickleball

- Stipend for office equipment as needed


Our Process


Our hiring process is as follows:


1. Review of your resume, portfolio and background along with a video submission introducing yourself

2. Interview with our Head of Talent, Arlin (30 minutes)

3. Interview with Brandon, co-founder & COO (30 minutes)

4. A take-home test project (2-3 hours)

5. Final-round interview with Max, co-founder & CEO, for culture & community fit (30 minutes)

6. Reference checks and offer
