Piconics Inc, a micro-electronic inductor manufacturer, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join
our team as a Micro Electronic Assembler. This individual will be working in the Manufacturing
Department operating semi-automated manufacturing machinery. This is a first shift on site position.
Job Description:
- Operates semi-automated micro electronic manufacturing equipment.
- Manipulation of fine wire coils using tweezers while under a microscope.
- Works with hand tools, epoxies and chemical solvents to assemble micro sized components.
- Self-monitoring of workmanship.
- Maintains travelers, logs and paperwork to track production progress and time.
Job Requirements:
- 2 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Candidate must possess fine motor skills, good hand eye coordination and the ability to work
- Ability to follow both written and verbal work instructions.
- Ability to work with tweezers and other small hand tools.
- Good communication skills and be a team player.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Previous micro-electronics or small parts manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Previous assembly or machine operator experience is a plus
- A strong work ethic and attendance track record is required.
- Must have own transportation to and from work.
- English is required.
