Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join their healthcare team in Plattsburgh, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inpatient hospital pharmacy, a current New York State pharmacist license (or the ability to obtain one), and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
This is a full-time, on-site position offering a salary range of $125,000-$185,000. A partial relocation package is available for qualified candidates.
Overview
The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for the preparation and dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical supplies for both inpatients and outpatients. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards and works collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications for inpatient and outpatient use in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of prescribed medications.
- Monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information to healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate records of medication preparation and dispensing activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of pharmacy protocols and procedures.
