Nursing Care
The Staff Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. This includes assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining standards of practice and ensuring that all assigned staff members provide quality nursing care.
- Coordinating patient care activities and communicating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Providing education and support to patients and families on various health topics.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices. The following qualifications are required:
- Graduate of a nursing program.
- New graduates of a nursing program eligible for licensure.
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- BLS certification is required.
