This position is responsible for implementing the Drug Free Communities Support Grant initiative in Franklin County as a Coalition Coordinator. This position will oversee project development, community education, and marketing and networking, while working with community partners and staff to assure that the goals of the grant are reached. Should have a demonstrated knowledge of the theoretical base of prevention strategies including community-based planning, along with coalition development and management, demonstrated ability to design and conduct programs for different populations, work effectively with staff and community partners, and foster community engagement and mobilization. Position requires a flexible schedule to accommodate evening meetings, and project activities and needs outside of regular business hours, including travel to conferences. Bachelor's degree preferred in field related to public health, behavioral health or human services. Salary is commensurate with appropriate education and experience as it relates to this position.
