What are the responsibilities and job description for the Peer Recovery Support Specialist Navigator for PACE position at Piedmont Community Services?
Full time position available as a Peer Recovery Specialist for PACE to Recovery Program in Martinsville. This program helps individuals navigate Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) from an emergency room to ongoing treatment and care at Piedmont Community Services. Must have ability to communicate respectfully and effectively with individuals, small groups, agency staff, and community partners. Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist is preferred. Peer Recovery Specialists also provide non-clinical peer-to-peer activities to empower individuals to improve health, recovery, resiliency, and wellness. Must demonstrate lived experience with substance use on the application. Flexible hours, including evening, required for this position.
